New challenges. New opportunities. Managing your school and location requires tools. We have the right tools for you. All on one platform – RRP Portal.
While some of you are already familiar and are using the RRP portal, we would like to reintroduce the benefits and encourage you to reach out to us if you have any questions or need help.
The RRP Portal is a secure and internal site accessible to all our RRP members.
The portal is in place to manage current programs, track and manage savings, get help from our customer services team, contact program administrators, manage relationship with the suppliers, find account numbers, and more.
We received useful feedback on how to make the site more user-friendly and helpful, from managing multiple locations to ease of finding and distributing employee discount benefits.
For increased usage of the Portal, the Steering Committee was enthusiastic about some of the following ideas: webinars, prizes for participation in webinars, link to Portal from GiveCentral page, and more. If you have any ideas and suggestions, we’d love to hear from you! Email firstname.lastname@example.org with ideas and questions.
Other RRP Updates
For those of you who were unable to make it to our Steering Committee Meeting in July, we’d like to offer an update on several Resource Renewal Program® (RRP) areas.
Office Supplies: Ordering approval process through Staples is available to those who are interested in setting up ordering limits or hierarchies. To learn more, contact our dedicated Staples account manager, Dennis Nyhan at email@example.com or call 630-222-8266.
Telecomm: All agreements are up for renewal in 2018. We have begun preliminary discussions with AT&T moving forward. New areas we are looking at are Virtual WAN, Cloud Based telephony, and the Internet of Things. When we meet again in September and November, we will need your feedback on each of these areas.
E-rate: As a group, we want to take full advantage of the funds available. The best way to do that is to fully identify tech spend and tech needs. Our new GiveCentral crowdfunding tool can help your schools find the matching funds for the grants available to them.
Energy: We have a lot of ideas on how to reduce cost at your locations. One is replacing gym and parking lot lights. There are also new energy efficiency education programs available as of July 1st. For example, learning about net metering for locations considering solar or other energy generation options.
Communications Updates and Feedback
We are pleased to introduce our new marketing and communications manager, Ruzanna Tantushyan, who joined our team this spring. She has already been an invaluable addition to our organization and has many great ideas on how we can better communicate and get you the information that you need.
We were happy to hear that most people receive our newsletter regularly and find it helpful. Many noted they would like help with their own communication tools (email, social media, etc.) and making sure their employees know about all the RRP employee discounts available to them.
Please continue to give us feedback on how we can improve, whether in the area of communication or otherwise.
Stay tuned to our emails as we’ll soon be sharing ‘how-to’ tips for social media and more!,/p>
